Stay Hopeful!

This year has turned out to be completely unexpected for each and everyone of us on this planet living today. We saw almost all kinds of natural and man-made disasters in just one year. Be it wildfires, cyclones, floods, volcano eruptions, riots, war, economic breakdown and what not. But most terrible of all and which affected each one of us was this Covid-19 pandemic. I know we have already read and heard a lot about it. 

Pandemic is something that all of us have experienced for the first time. Everything came to a standstill. We had to stay inside, wherever we are, to stay safe and keep others safe. No one was understanding what was going on. Our normal ways of living life completely changed. We needed permission from government authorities to go out to buy even normal essential stuff. 

But...

Every darkest cloud has a silver lining.

During all this time I was just grateful to Lord that at least I had a comfortable house to stay and have loving people around me. To be honest this was like a dream come true for me. I love staying at home. I always wanted to do work from home. This year I have done somethings which I was only planning to do since many years- like gardening, starting this blog and; my parents finally understood that I can cook much more than just Maggie . 

2020 brought me much closer to my loved ones- 'My people'. On whom I can always count on.

This year was tough especially the last months for me were the toughest; but my God was always there with me. I might not realize it often but I know that He is always with me in every single moment of my life.

I think, we can say that 2020 was the start of the much needed change in the society and within us individually for the new times to come. 

It is now time to bid bye to 2020 and welcome 2021. We have no idea what the new year hold for us; but here I remember a dialogue from my favorite movie- The Princess Dairies- "Whatever he is, we will present ourselves with grace and poise." 

So let's get ready for the new year and new beginnings with gratitude!
